Climate Change Impacts on Our National Parks

In 2016 we celebrated the Centennial of our National Park Service (NPS) founded August 25, 1916.  The NPS manages 411 sites, with some already being affected by changing climates.  This is why the Department of the Interior drafted “A Climate Change Adaptation Plan” in 2014.  Seeley discusses which of our National Park sites are being impacted by climate change, and what their future holds.

The Art & Science of Cloud Forms & Cloud Appreciation

An eclectic mix of art and science, using the “The Cloud Selector” card and the “Cloud Spotter’s Guide,” both available from the Cloud Appreciation Society.   Mark will also provide guidance on what cloud formations foretell about the weather.  This material is suitable for all ages, including children.
